Professor Hirn is super patient with our class and you can tell how much she loves teaching. She makes sure that every student understands and no one is left behind.
I really love how professor Hirn encourages us to ask questions even if it seems small because she once said "there is no such thing as a dumb question". Please come to me if you need anything, any help at all.
I really appreciate the professor's teaching style for me. Receiving that hands-on teaching in terms of graphs as well as anything she put on the board help me to better understand the course material effectively. She gave her own examples and not just the examples in the book. She also assists a lot with homework.

I met Najwa Hirn in 1989 when I hired her as an Algebra tutor. I found her to be an exceptional tutor, ideally suited for the teaching profession. She quickly brought me up to the level I needed to be in Algebra, and even beyond. She has an excellent way with students, enjoys helping people, and is skilled in teaching.
